Terms
Practical service terms for teams building app agents on General Augment.
Last updated April 22, 2026
Service use
General Augment provides an agent backend for app developers. You are responsible for your app experience, your end-user relationship, and the data, prompts, tools, and channels you connect to the platform.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break laws, violate platform policies, access data without authorization, evade security controls, or perform high-risk actions without appropriate review and approvals.
API keys and accounts
You are responsible for protecting API keys, dashboard access, webhook secrets, and connected provider credentials. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Tools and agent actions
Agent tool calls can affect external systems. Configure approval gates, scopes, limits, and audit settings appropriate for your use case before enabling production actions.
Availability and changes
General Augment is early-stage. Features, limits, pricing, providers, and deployment options may change as we harden the platform for production customers.
